Riley had her 6 week check up today.
She did awesome...didnt even make a peep. Just looked around and cooperated like she does it all the time.
She's very healthy...PRAISE THE LORD!
She's gained almost 3 pounds exactaly since birth, which puts her at 10 lbs. 12 oz.
And she's grown 3 inches since birth! She's now 23 inches! Thats sooo long for only 6 weeks!! hahaha
We are so happy that she is growing and is a healthy little girl!

5 weeks and smiling

This was one of her first smiles...this one was actually at about 4 1/2 weeks...but this picture is funny, she doesn't look a month old...more like a year old! haha

So Riley is now one month old...crazy how time has already flown...here's a little bit about our bundle of joy...
-10 pounds
-Very strong!
-Likes to lift up her head to look around
-Eats like a champ
-Poops like a champ
-Lays with hands in fists by her ears
-Spreads her toes apart
-Loves bath time
-Moves like crazy when she sleeps
-Not a big crier (YAY!!)
-Loves her carseat and stroller...instant nap
-Holds her own binky in her mouth with her hands
-Has a perfect part on the side of her head
-Crosses her ankles like a lady when in her car seat
-And excitedly awaiting to meet her new cousin!!!!!

Riley's new bed!!

Believe it or not, at just a few days shy of 4 weeks old, she OUTGREW her bassinett! For the past few nights, she's been sleeping in the bed with us, which doesnt really work, cause for how tiny she is, she takes ALL THE ROOM! We lay her down, and a few hours later, she wakes us up and she is SIDEWAYS! That girl moves so much! So we decided that its time to get her a CRIB! It's so exciting for her to have a crib...its her bed for the next few years! Enjoy these pictures of Marky putting it together, while me and Riley sat on the bed and watched. :)

So we tried putting her to bed in the new crib...but of course she didnt like it. ha. Today I layed her down in it for her nap...lasted 30 minutes! hey, its a start!!! :)

First Soccer Game

Riley got to attend her very first soccer game, as she went to Downey and watched her Grandma and Grandpa coach. She had so much fun....well...ok, maybe not actual fun, since she pretty much slept through the entire game. ha. But WE had the fun bringing her along. We are very much looking forward to her first ACTUAL soccer game when she can play! 5 years! We're counting down!!! We aren't pushing soccer on her...really. hahah. But if you think about it, she really must play, cause thats how her Mommy and Daddy met, back in 2000! :)

Yes, Daddy and Riley both have the same hairstyle! After her bath, Marky wanted to comb her hair, and sure enough he gave her the same do' as Daddy! :)

Almost 2 weeks old!

We can't believe it's already almost 2 weeks ago that Riley was born. It's already going by so fast! She is such a good baby. We dont have anything to compare her to, but to us, she is such an easy going baby girl who hardly makes a peep. She sleeps a lot and eats a ton! She is definitely growing! We just love to hold her, snuggle with her, and of course take pictures of her. haha. She wakes up every few hours in the night to eat, but then wants to stay up and play, when we are ready to go back to bed...but a few nights ago she slept 6 HOURS STRAIGHT! We both were not only amazed, but VERY thankful that we can sleep for 6 hours too! But she hasn't done it since. hahaha

ITS A GIRL!!!!!!!!!

On January 17th, at 2:31am we welcomed Riley Rae Pesce!! 7lbs 13 oz. with a head full of hair! We feel so blessed to be able to call her ours. God is soooo GOOD! She is such a content little baby girl

39 weeks and counting...

Here are some pictures taken at 9 months...this pregnancy was an awesome one and went by waaayyy too fast! Feels like May 22nd was just yesterday, when we found out I was pregnant! We are so ready to have our lives change 100%....stay tuned :)
